I was surprised no one pointed this out so I had to prove it to myself. I was looking for a freezer alarm when all of a sudden our freezer stopped working and we didn't know. None of the freeze monitors offered here at Revain that use the 'wireless' (ie battery powered) sensor that should be in the freezer of a fridge will last more than 1 or 2 days. Why? The battery cools down and turns off.! I can't believe these products don't mention this! what am i missing Please tell me I'm wrong! I think I'll go back to the old fashioned wire probe that threads into the fridge/freezer through a gasket or other port.
