This product is excellent for grilling. I've used it to roast marinated chicken, pork chops and even steaks and it worked perfectly. Perhaps what I like best is that the marinade and juice stays on the mat and doesn't drip onto the flame, eliminating hot spots. Because of this, I used to have trouble cooking chicken and pork chops. Since using these mats I have had great results. They also make cleaning easier - fat or sauces don't cake on the grill or drip onto the floor. When I take the meat off the grill, I just grab some paper towels to soak up the juice that's left on the mat, then fold it up and put it in the kitchen sink where it's very easy to rinse the mat and wash it clean after dinner. I would recommend them to anyone serious about grilling.
