I have had a Brita jug for many years. A friend of mine had one and liked the idea that it holds more than my pitcher, but because it's taller and thinner it takes up less space in my fridge. I've had it for a week now and am very happy with my purchase. A word of caution: if you place it close to the edge so that the faucet hangs over the shelf and you can hold the glass underneath, be careful. Make sure that nothing, e.g. B. a door shelf touches the faucet. I figured this would only work if you pulled the connector down, but it would also work if you pushed it back. About 30 minutes after I sewed it up and put it in the fridge, I went into the kitchen and found water on the floor and the dispenser was empty. I have a French door refrigerator with shorter doors but deeper door shelves. Little did I know when I closed the door that one of the door shelves was pressing on the faucet, causing water to flow out. This was easily fixed by adjusting the shelf and it's definitely not the product's fault but hopefully I can save someone else from making the same mistake.
