Bad excuse for the water conditioner

. I have tested Brita with the standard filter against tap water, bottled water and mg water filters which I also bought from Revain. The water in my house tested at a very poor 235ppm, the cheaper Sams brand bottled water tested at 6.5ppm, mg purifiers tested at 0ppm! and Brita was tested at a measly 216ppm. In addition, Brita was 1/3 more expensive than much higher quality mg (magnesium) filtration systems.

Filters badly.

I checked the quality of the tap water and was alarmed when I got 322ppm. I bought it thinking it would help purify my water. I've filled and emptied this pitcher 4 times with a charcoal filter and then re-evaluated the water - I've gotten inconsistent readings of 199-220ppm. Ideal drinking water should have a concentration of 0-50ppm and activated carbon filtration should produce water with a concentration of 50-100ppm. I just have a bad filter? Brita appears to be a reliable brand. Also…

Love my Brita!: Krug Water Filter

I love this Brita water filter and we use it every day in my house. I live on the top floor of a 5 story apartment building, so tap water has to go through many pipes to get into my apartment. This gives it an unpleasant taste and makes drinking it a chore. With this Brita filter, however, the water tastes fresh and clean! It filters at a decent and acceptable rate, meaning I've never had a reason to complain. The tall and narrow design makes it perfect for my fridge without taking up too much…

Great water filter/dispenser. Beware of Spigot.

I'm leaving this review with 5 stars because the repair was so easy. Details below: PROS: + Large/thin and space-saving + Can hold a decent amount of water for 2-3 people + Replacement filters are much cheaper than faucet filters Cons: - You have to wait for the water to cool down when using it to refill the entire contents - it takes 5 to 10 minutes to filter the water (if the filter is properly installed and not leaking) - the tank needs to be filled twice to reach its full capacity. - After…

leaks! good size, easy to clean and fill, but poor spout!

Well I love that it holds so much water that I don't have to keep filling it, but what I don't like the most is the spout. After a few days I noticed water under milk or eggs. I thought my husband spilled something while filling the filter. A few more days, I put a kitchen towel underneath, and sure enough, the towel gets wet the next day. So I decide to check it out after I fill my glass. Sometimes it was ok, but otherwise it would drip a few seconds after I turned it off and wouldn't stop…

I really like it so far - be careful with spigot placement!

I have had a Brita jug for many years. A friend of mine had one and liked the idea that it holds more than my pitcher, but because it's taller and thinner it takes up less space in my fridge. I've had it for a week now and am very happy with my purchase. A word of caution: if you place it close to the edge so that the faucet hangs over the shelf and you can hold the glass underneath, be careful. Make sure that nothing, e.g. B. a door shelf touches the faucet. I figured this would only work if…

Clarification of some negative reviews

I only received this product two days ago and I would like to clarify some of the negative reviews I read before purchasing. The first thing I read was the comment that you can't use Brita Longlast Blue replacement filters, which is wrong. I bought a Longlast filter to install and it works great. I suspect that the person who left the feedback about you not being able to use them failed to line up the small indentation on the filter with the groove in the dispenser. Secondly, some people have…
