I bought them mainly for ice skating and the surface of the rink is polished concrete, so I needed something hard and something smooth enough Jamming/shuffle on skates with twists and turns, but also something with just enough grip to stay in control. This is a great and affordable option. The colors match the photos quite well, I ordered Lime Green and it's a pretty solid neon lime. I have the royal purple Moxi Lolly boots so the color really pops. Any reservations about these wheels or just things I've had to do with them that I've done differently than softer, wider wheels. I liked the slacker wide wheel trucks because they helped with turning and traversing, but I found that the smaller size needed narrower trucks to remain stable. Inserting the bearings wasn't difficult, but getting them all the way in so rotation was free was a bit tricky, for example the front bearings needed extra pressure to seat properly. But overall I'm very happy with these bikes. Good balance of grip and handling, and you really can't beat $40 for an eight-wheel set. I just wish they came in packs of four so they can be mixed and matched, I'll probably end up with four sets in different colors and they won't all match haha.
