Was on a two-week overland trip. The rubber pad that mounts on the roof of the car in front of the trunk really keeps the trunk in place. Don't run without one. All straps are strong and using velcro straps will not dangle during movement. It holds a lot of items and saves a lot of space in the car. I would suggest packing pillows and/or blankets around your stuff. The fuller (expanded) the trunk, the better it works with aerodynamics. When it's full, it looks better. Close one side and fully tie that side, then the other side. It is easier. The leather is very strong and durable. Due to the design, no water can penetrate when properly closed. The zipper is strong but often missed teeth or got stuck. The zipper could be a bit better quality. But overall I would give it a 9.5 out of 10.
