The ones I received were darker than the picture. I figured if I ordered this 12 color set I would have a wide range of colors to choose from. But I like and will only use two - a slightly shimmery purple and a shimmery lighter purple/burgundy. I'm a light Scandinavian blonde with light skin and blue-green eyes. I look awful in black so I don't wear that color next to my face. Wherever I buy hairpins, rubber bands and accessories, I remain an orphan. All I can find are the five standard winter shades - black, brown, gold, silver and, if I'm very lucky, maybe white or pearlescent. I'm so tired of them. All other colors in this pack are for dark hair - orange, black, grey, olive green, forest green, auburn and four shades of brown; not a single color I would wear. They seem pretty solid but I haven't used them yet. I prefer a slightly curved shape that fits my head better than a straight one. Four clips are matte and the rest are glossy. All of them are tinted with dark spots. At this price I leave them for two that I can use. BUT where can I buy MY colors? I'm a light spring/summer so navy blue and purple burgundy are my dark winter colors. I look best in pure light shades with shades of white NOT black. I like multicolored marble patterns. Who twirls baby blues with turquoise or turquoise? Or pink and magenta with purple? Where can I buy bright interesting multicolor or pastel colors? Can't believe I'm the only blonde looking? Unfortunately, I don't think that a trip to Sweden will bring more variety. I feel left out and so disappointed - again.
