This past fall, I searched for less expensive tires because I had an extremely tight budget. I choose to use this model after reading the reviews. Oddly enough, the tires are excellent, they don't skid on a wet road, and I turn into turns with assurance. I installed them in November, and by the time I switched to summer tires in April, all of the spikes were in place. They are noisy, but I don't find that to be a problem at all.
