ball joints feel, used a rented set of ball joints and installed them in the steering knuckles with no problems. The problems started when I decided to install them on my Bronco. The link nuts were so tight that one of them reached 50 foot-pounds before I even tightened it, which only caused the joint to rotate. I had to use a jack under the ankle to hold everything tight enough to tighten the nut properly. It was even worse on the driver's side, the nut was so tight it completely destroyed the threads on the bolt, when I unscrewed it the nut was destroyed and unusable. I turned around and bought a new Moog Pivot from my local parts store and no problem! Easy installation, no nut troubles. From now on I buy these kind of parts locally.
