Hokilands: Not Up to Standards

I was eager to check out Hokilands and see what they had to offer because I am a parent and a strong believer in the value of play. Unfortunately, I was let down by how well-made all of their things were. They do have a lot of toys, games, sports gear, and playground equipment, but the quality isn't good enough. Many of the games and toys had pieces that were readily twisted or broken and felt weak and cheaply constructed. The sporting goods weren't much better, with mats fraying after only a few usage and balls that rapidly lost their shape. As someone who values imagination and creativity, I was also dissatisfied by the dearth of novel or distinctive products. The majority of the items I discovered on Hokilands appeared to be generic, mass-produced goods that I could discover at any big-box retailer. The situation was made worse by their bad customer service. I complained about a malfunctioning product, and I received unhelpful and uncaring comments in return. Overall, even though Hokilands could appear to be a nice choice at first glance, I would advise anyone against doing business with them. Simply put, the price is not justified due to the poor quality of their items and poor customer service. Look elsewhere if you're searching for long-lasting, high-quality toys and games.

Pros
  • The use of one's imagination, creativity, and active play should be emphasized.
Cons
  • Several product categories have a small selection.
