Review on ARM & HAMMER Naturals Cat Litter Review: Multi Cat, 18lb Bag by Laura Thompson

This was my first experience of buying and using natural cat litter. While my cat transitioned easily to the new look, her performance was definitely different than normal litter. Bowel movements were fine and there were no problems, but urine clumping didn't work. Sometimes when I was scooping it seemed like the filling was still wet and would fall apart, causing the dirty pieces to fall into a clean box. Also, when I cleaned the entire crate monthly, I found that most of the time the urine would seep to the bottom of the crate, leaving a hardened layer of urine-soaked putty on the bottom. By then the ammonia smell will be so strong that I will have to go outside to breathe and keep cleaning the box! Even with daily cleaning, I have not found that the filler handles urine well. The smell of the pen was pleasant, but a bit strong for my taste. Particles are also smaller, so tracking was an issue, as was dust. I bought it because it was the cheaper option but I'll look elsewhere.
