Review on David White 32 Power Automatic Optical by Chef Buntiloy

Compensator locking button does not touch the cheap little plastic lip in the foam case with enough force to actually lock and protect the compensator. The compensator may rattle inside the instrument during operation, but should snap into place when placed back in its case to protect it during transport. I received the purchase twice and sent it back because the compensator rattled (unprotected) in the case during the shipment of the UPS from the factory to my home. I called the factory representative and was told to send it back for a replacement. If the third one is defective I will ask for my money back and order another brand/model. Addendum: The third optical level was delivered yesterday, it works as it should, I'm satisfied. I think David White should improve the case design or make the compensator lock button require less force to operate.
