Review on Hawk Performance HB418F 646 Ceramic Brake by Robert Correa

Bought these for my Honda Civic Hybrid. This is not an exact replacement. My old pads had two clips per wheel to hold the pad in place through two holes on the edge of each pad. There is no such provision in the Hawk Pad. But I figured the Hawk pads would work just fine without the clips. So far no problems. I didn't bother applying lube out of the box to calm the brakes, and there weren't any noise issues either. I didn't do any objective tests. But they seem to be holding up well. Remember to follow the directions on the packaging to polish the pads. If you haven't done this, I would recommend getting a drill adapter so you can remove and on/off nuts with a drill very quickly. Just a few bucks at Harbor Freight.
