This is a nice upgrade for my Honda Fit Sport OEM brakes.

This is a good upgrade for my Honda Fit Sport OEM brake pad. Stop much better, especially when you need to brake the most, on freeways and sudden stops.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Some trouble

Great pads for degenerate riders.

I installed them on my Acura RSX after having a very bad brake after a mountain road break. They don't fade much, if at all, from heat, and they hold up incredibly well. A good compliment for tires with low tread wear. The only downside is the obscene amount of brake dust. Will buy again!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Modern

Pads for Honda 08 fit

Installed on 08 Honda Fit Sport. Works perfect. No fuss, just watch the Hawk video on YouTube for bedding instructions. At the same time I installed new rotors (Bosch Quietcast). I didn't notice that much brake dust. Very happy with the performance, the initial bite seems stronger. Overall I am very happy with the pads.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • old

Good bite, best in the braking system

I used them in a 2011 Honda Fit. The stick doesn't last an initial bite and felt woody. They worked very well, not too much dust, quiet except for the last little creaking on the last 1/8 turn of the wheel when stopping. Weird, but I thought it was cute now. On my third set at 120,000 miles I had to drill a small hole in the side of the pad for the spacer springs, which is easy.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Not an automatic

Fantastic improvement in braking confidence and feel

Ordered these pads to replace the original pads on a Honda Fit (which has terrible stopping distances despite being very light). On the first run after installation it was obvious that they offered a much better bite - definitely more confidence inspiring than stock pads. It's too early to talk about durability and dust but so far I'm very happy with them.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Fragile

A great upgrade for any car

I didn't have money for a complete brake upgrade before the start of the track. I decided to give it a try. I can only tell the difference between day and night. Changed 10 laps at the company (middle floor racetrack) to AB 94 Civic Coupé. Not once have I experienced severe brake fade. The brakes are surprisingly quiet for everyday use. This was also tested on a full standard brake system with dot 4 super blue brake fluid. Ideal for day or weekend road racing. I will definitely buy these pads…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Compatibility

But I thought the Hawk pads would work fine without the clamps

Bought these for my Honda Civic Hybrid. This is not an exact replacement. My old pads had two clips per wheel to hold the pad in place through two holes on the edge of each pad. There is no such provision in the Hawk Pad. But I figured the Hawk pads would work just fine without the clips. So far no problems. I didn't bother applying lube out of the box to calm the brakes, and there weren't any noise issues either. I didn't do any objective tests. But they seem to be holding up well. Remember to

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Don't really like it, it's ok

Better than stock but noisy

Put these on my 2012 Honda Fit which has terrible brake pads from the factory (my 2008 Toyota FJ stops much better and is huge in comparison). It took about 10 minutes per wheel. They're falling straight, no modifications needed as far as I can tell. They capture much better and I at least have the feeling that they work much better. I didn't compare the stops X to 0, so I have to follow my intuition. They're clean too - no more brake dust than stock pads. My only issue is that at very low…
