RIGHT: For my room (150ft^2) this cooler changed the temp LITTLE. Here the temperature is between 100 and 105 degrees Fahrenheit, from 13 to 16 hours the heat really gets on your nerves, after use it wasn't that bad anymore. It took the edge off. If the right air conditioner helps 100%, I think this device will help cool the room by 25-30%. It's really nice to breathe in, but don't buy it if you're expecting air conditioning. Again, if you have a smaller space or are sitting closer to the cooler, that's a different story. I still prefer to pay more and buy an air conditioner, but I have a sliding window and it's difficult to adjust.
