It's amazing that so many people have gotten this thing to work, and yet no want can draw a decent diagram on how to install it. Several Google searches showed several different ways, so I pretty much hooked it up at least 10 different ways until I find what I needed.My Fiat 500c trunk would not unlock. The convertible top was damaged, and wouldn't open and close all the way. This meant I couldn't reset the computer which would allow the trunk to open. So, I got this switch to bypass the computer, and connect the trunk lock actuator directly to the battery. The first button mode would move a lock part in one direction only per press. The second button mode would move the lock part forward and back, which meant the lock would relock after opening and closing the trunk door. Exactly what I (or, more specifically, my wife) needed.The only difference between my wiring and the wiring shown in this pic was that I connected my power to NO (normal open). That way, when I pressed the button, the contact would close and send electricity to the lock actuator.
