3 stars for the optics but unfortunately not a direct hit, they will come back. I needed shoes my little one could slip into without adult help or having to sit on the floor to put them on. Unfortunately they weren't. The neoprene backing is almost unyielding so it wasn't easy to put on. Also, the heel didn't feel right enough to stay on while running. I told her that she could wear them as slippers and step on the lining, but she complained that she was uncomfortable under her foot. If the lining were more elastic, this could be the perfect shoe for gliding through the water. We will use Natives and Crocs for summer shoes.
