Aesthetically very pleasing to look at. Very well made, the bullet stays in place with minimal torque on the locking knob. Works very well with a small camera (Sony RX100) or a full size DSLR (Canon 6D). If you want to attach a large lens (eg 100-400mm), then of course mount the lens ring on the ball head, not the camera body on the ball head. Otherwise I see no need for more. I replaced an old full size Manfrotto ball head with this one and won't look back.
