I bought these to use with my new PC build. I have an Asus Strix x570-i motherboard and they replace the wired shark fin antenna that came with my motherboard. They screw directly into the Wi-Fi ports on the back of the motherboard I/O. Slightly superior to shark fins, they have a much smaller form factor, no cables, and a more aesthetic look. The results of my test are shown below. I ran each test three times and averaged the results. The router is fairly close to my setup, one floor above me and one room to my left (about 15 feet, 2 walls between). I understand that this test doesn't show signal strength over long distances, but this is my specific use case. I show Mbps Down/Mbps Up for both 5G and 2G router bands: Wired Ethernet Connection: 233/11 5G Shark Fin: 227/11 2G Shark Fin: 87/11 This 5G Product: 230/11 This 2G Product : 102/11 As you can see, the results were very close. The only significant difference I noticed was the 2G download speed, this product seems to be slightly faster than the shark fin antenna. But regardless of whether you pick a few Mbps here or there, the point is that this product works very well. It gives you all the performance of other antenna options in a compact/clean form factor with no cables. Five stars, clear recommendation.
