Works as advertised. There is nothing that was promised that was not kept. Pros: 1. The alarm clock is very loud. You won't oversleep when the alarm goes off2. The magnet is really strong. You can tape a textured metal fridge to the side and program it with one hand without it falling. Cons: 1. When the alarm goes off, it doesn't start counting the elapsed time since the alarm went off. This wasn't promised, but is a five-star timer requirement. If you have a timer set to 00 minutes 00 seconds and you press the start button, it will start counting down.2. The display shows minutes and seconds, which means the maximum measurable time is 99 minutes 99 seconds. That's fine for most things, but if you're making a three or four hour stew, it's not so good. Instructions in English were hidden at the bottom of the box. There you will find that the batteries are wrapped in plastic wrap. The timer doesn't work until you remove the plastic wrap, which isn't easy. Removing the batteries was also easy. I needed a small screwdriver to pry them out.
