I ordered this digital angle tool to help me fine tune my miter saw and table saw. I am very happy with its performance. The digital scale is read with an accuracy of tenths of a degree, but the manufacturer claims an accuracy of 3 tenths of a degree. In fact, I found the tool more accurate than what the manufacturer claims. Repeated measurements of the same angle gave the same results. The stainless steel levers are very sharp on the corners and edges, so the top lever will mark the bottom lever if you move them over each other. The markings are very thin and do not damage the easy-to-read, high-contrast engravings on the ruler. Briefly pressing the on/off button switches the digital scale on. Another quick press puts it into a standby state where the numbers don't appear until you move the levers, saving battery life. A long press switches the digital scale off completely. That seems well thought out to me. The hinge can be tightened to the desired resistance by simply turning the knob.
