My router is in the basement and my office is on the second floor, so I was obviously experiencing some network delays. Thought I'd try this just to see if it works. At first I didn't bother with the quick install, I used the one on the CD. The main reason is laziness because I didn't want to make two flights to the router. The installation went almost immediately. My desktop connects immediately and I'm getting the full 75 Mbps my router is getting on my desktop. I used to use powerline and was only getting about 45mbps. My laptop is getting 40 over the wifi now, but I think it has more to do with all the crap my company puts on laptops.
