Review on Godinger Dublin Cocktail Shaker: Stylish Martini Shaker, 17oz by Michael Patilla

Bought this shaker because it was very pretty and wanted it to be glass instead of metal. It's very hard and heavy. Holds large ice cubes and is easy to clean. The only thing that worries me, and now I have no reason to worry, is the rubber rim that keeps the lid on the shaker. Since I use it every day, I'm worried that the rubber seal might lose its elasticity and leak. As the saying goes, it didn't happen, it's just a worry. The shaker is much nicer than my previous one. On the other hand, it's a very functional and excellent acquisition. As for the seal, I would buy this product again if something came loose. UPDATE: I have been using this shaker almost daily for over 6 months and there is no sign of the pod loosening or deteriorating in any way. Excellent purchase. Highly recommended. UPDATE December 2021: Shaker works GREAT. Use it every night. I made a mistake the other day. I put the rubberized top in the dishwasher. NO more sealing. I'm ordering another one today. This time the top is definitely always hand washed. Don't give up on this shaker [just give up on being lazy].
