Godinger Dublin Cocktail Shaker: Stylish Martini Shaker, 17oz Review

Absolutely amazing! The most beautiful cocktail shaker I have ever seen. The gasket on the top of the shaker fits exactly as it should and the lid fits very well too. Set my bar to the letter "T". Excellent value for money in my opinion.

Stay away. In my opinion this should be enough for more than 4 months of light usage. The bottom fell off when shaking the cocktail. I washed it after each use, no dishwasher. Of course, Revain won't do anything after 30 days, so I'll let you know. Do not buy. cheap garbage

I was meaning to write this review a few months ago. It broke after a few uses. The shaker looks great and works very well until it breaks. As someone mentioned in the reviews, I had the exact same experience. The bottom came off completely while I was making a cocktail. Let's talk about the mess I had to clean up.

I have made quite a few drinks since the day I received it. The glass feels pleasantly heavy, like lead crystal. I had no problems sticking the lid on. It's a beautiful piece and it works well! I wanted something prettier, it definitely is! You'll probably have to hold it with both hands while shaking it! For me it was a great purchase.

Much better than the picture. Well made and stable, not wobbly at all. The top is tight. It arrived quickly and very well packaged. I also bought matching martini glasses which I am very happy with. I think it's good value for money. My cucumber martinis seem extra special, prepared and served in this beautiful set. Would I buy again and it is a very good gift. I highly recommend.

I was "inspired" to buy this shaker when I saw Grace and Frankie. He is much prettier live than in Revane's photo. This is a very expensive looking crystal object, solid in size and weight. Came in a nice gift box. I would definitely give this shaker as a gift, it's so beautiful. It has a nice almost invisible seal to prevent your favorite cocktail from spilling out when you shake, shake, shake. Don't hesitate to buy this cocktail shaker!

I would give 5 stars for the look and feel but only 1 for functionality. I like the looks and the weight. BUT, unless you just make smooth shakes to cool your drink down a bit, it's going to slosh all over you. If you need to shake vigorously, it will leak even if you press the top to the bottom while shaking. And if you're making a shake that creates pressure in the shaker, like a dry protein shake, forget it. So all in all a big disappointment for me, especially since I love it otherwise.

I have a collection of Godinger Dublin crystal ranging from mugs to three tier coasters. I saw a martini shaker at the cinema and thought it would be great for freshly squeezed lemonade. When it arrived after washing, I immediately poured simple syrup, water and freshly squeezed lemon juice into a shaker, gave it a little shake and poured over crushed ice into a Tom Collins Godinger Dublin crystal glass. Bought this shaker because it was very pretty and wanted it to be glass instead of metal. It's very hard and heavy. Holds large ice cubes and is easy to clean. The only thing that worries me, and now I have no reason to worry, is the rubber rim that keeps the lid on the shaker. Since I use it every day, I'm worried that the rubber seal might lose its elasticity and leak. As the saying goes, it didn't happen, it's just a worry. The shaker is much nicer than my previous one.
