Review on Tin Cup Golf Ball Custom Marker Alignment Tool: Perfect Your Golf Game with Precision Marking by Jonathan Fernandez

100% sure the ball is mine!

I've hit Callaway HX Diablo golf balls a lot, so there wasn't much confusion as to whether I had the ball or not. But sometimes the ball lands right (or wrong in this case), making the logo hard to see. Throw a Jolly Roger Tin Cup and I'm 100% sure the ball is mine. I use a red marker with an ultra fine tip to make a 2 dot mark on the ball away from the logo. Regardless of how the ball lands, I can choose the ball's logo or one of two skulls and bones. No one will be confused as to which ball is mine. The only two minuses are insignificant for me personally. It takes some time to sit down with a pack of 12 golf balls and put 2 marks on each. Some care is also required with the ultra-fine point if the logo is to appear relatively clean on the sphere. It would also be wise to let them dry for a few minutes and make sure they don't roll on the surface you care about if they don't. Second, permanent ink is not completely permanent when it comes to golf balls, clubs, and wet conditions. There are direct hit marks on some of the edges of my baton, and the ink rubs and rubs off on contact. I would be wary of carrying marked balls in my pockets etc if they are important to you. Aside from that, it personalizes the golf game a bit and you spend less time guessing if your golf ball is yours or not. So for me it was worth it and I continue to use it every time before a walk.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine
