This "802.11ac" Wi-Fi adapter only has an 802.11n radio! What a brazen lie! Don't get me wrong, it works on your 5GHz network, but the connection type is 802.11n. Do not believe me? If you are unlucky and have already bought this then: 1. Click on the Start button and type in CMD. 2. Right-click on Command Prompt and select "Run as administrator". 3. In the Command Prompt window, type netsh wlan show Interfaces.4. Look at the radio type. If it says 802.11ac then yours actually works, but if it says 802.11n like mine then you're screwed! This is absolutely ridiculous, luckily Revain refunded me even though I was waiting for a return date. Yes, it connects to Wi-Fi, but not at the advertised speed. So if you're willing to take the risk of paying over $40 for an adapter that doesn't work as advertised, you should. Otherwise: HOLD!
