My mother's computer is 10 years old and I recently upgraded it to Windows 7. The integrated graphics card was "missing”, to say the least. The "Windows Performance Rating" for the integrated card was 2.0 out of 7.9. That's why I chose this card for him. It was hardly the most advanced graphics card out there, but it was one of the most advanced cards your system could handle. I installed it and after installing drivers and software updates for all relevant hardware (AMD chipset, PCI Express bus, graphics card drivers, etc.) it ran smoothly. This took a lot off the CPU, greatly reduced the load and strain, and the video quality is higher than it's likely ever used. At least she can use the HDMI port and stream Netflix to her TV in the computer room. I'd say it's worth the $33 she paid for it after shipping.
