could have been chosen I have a smaller version of this from another vendor and loved every minute of it. I was working on a project in my bathroom and my 6" version just didn't work. This version, which is a full 10 inches, made it a lot easier to create templates around the pipe. I always place it on a flat surface to align it and then press it against what I'm trying to get a copy of. enough resistance to prevent accidental "nudges". I've used the tool 4 or 5 times in the last two weeks and I honestly don't think I'll be reaching for the smaller 6" any time soon. Reviews I'm making a product suggestion, in this case it would just be an adjustment, what voltage is being applied to the device. Some people may find it too difficult/easy to move their pinky fingers. I thought it was correct, but it would be a nice feature. Definitely recommended for projects where you're looking for some real precision Very impressed so far. FINAL TIP: Don't repeat my mistake - although the ruler goes up to 10", the fingers are actually just over 10". Make sure when measuring at the same time that you take into account that the first few fingers are NOT Part of the 10" are. Great product!
