Amazing panel. Terrible OSD.

This monitor has one of the most beautiful panels I have ever seen. I've used dozens of monitors in my adult life. This is the cheapest monitor I have ever bought. I use my monitors for graphic design work, photography and gaming. Out of the box, this is the best screen I've seen. It's bright, clear and bright. Colors are accurate to my eye even without calibration. It was nice to go to my office and see this thing in action. It sat next to my Asus Ultrawide IPS (which cost 4x as much) and outperformed the Ultrawide monitor in terms of brightness, sharpness, and color. Unfortunately I had to return this monitor. It just doesn't work well with my setup. The main culprit is the OSD. it's garbage. I run two systems sharing these monitors and switching from one to the other was a nightmare. It takes about 20 clicks of multiple buttons to switch inputs. And if your other system isn't ready, auto-sensing kicks in and forces the input back to what the signal has. I spent 3 weeks hoping I would get into some kind of rut but it was impossible. I've tried putting each system to sleep before switching, but it didn't work for my workflow. Sometimes I just need both systems. Additionally, this new habit of putting a machine to sleep to switch inputs caused my Macbook Pro (2019 model) to wake up without a fight. Very often I have to restart my laptop for the built-in screen to work again. I ended up replacing this great monitor with a similar (specs) BenQ monitor. It cost me an extra $100, but the panel isn't nearly as pretty as this Asus. It was sad but the on screen menu was made for my setup (one button input switch). BenQ is not as bright and sharp. Colors are close, but only

Pros
