Innovative Spray Nozzle On/Off Mechanism

I only tested this Vetro Power Carpet & Rug Protector Spray on a small 3ft x 5ft carpet behind my front door but it seemed to work well there. Rainwater from wet shoes and wet umbrellas collected in droplets and wiped off easily rather than seeping into the carpet and eventually risking a mold problem if not washed regularly. Instructions for applying the protection are explained on the bottle. Make sure the surface is clean and free of dust. Spray evenly from a distance of 10-15 cm (approx. 4-6 inches) until the surface is damp. Rub the coating into the surface with a soft brush. Wait 10 minutes and then repeat steps 2 and 3. Spray and rub again with a soft brush. Air dry within 24 hours. The bottle says it's good for up to 25-50 square feet depending on humidity, elevation, and surface thickness. I like how the atomizer turns on and off. Instead of the normally rotating cap at the end of the atomizer, which reads on and off and inevitably binds and needs frequent cleaning, this atomizer has a sliding lever on the side of the atomizer head. Move the lever to the left to turn it on, moving it to the right turns it off. This is easily done with my thumb while holding the atomizer. When this carpet protector bottle is empty I will clean it up and reuse it for other purposes. Simply because of the easy and convenient use of the spray head. I think the list price of $24.99 is expensive for this carpet cleaner, especially for that small 8.45 ounce bottle. However, the label states that a single application (which consists of the steps outlined above) will protect the carpet for up to a year. If it delivers on that promise, then it certainly makes it a lot more profitable.
