I couldn’t believe the quality of these lights, the light stakes that go into the ground were stronger metal and not the old thick plastic ones that break easy. Unboxing can be a little scary as the wiring comes with a brown and blue wire and not your typical black and white. The instructions on the wiring are nothing but picture. Just a word of advice, the Blue wire will connect to the low voltage ground wire that the one side has (if you look closely) wording on the wire, the neutral wire is always identified by some means. In some cases, such as mine there was small writing on the exterior of one side of the wire. So the blue wire is your neutral wire.The brown wire, otherwise known as the live wire.I hope this saves you some you tube time! Now onto the lights.these light were installed with ease in my case because I had pre exhisting lighting and just needed to swap the fixtures, some things to remember is that these light do not come with the transformer so you will have to get that and do consider getting a exterior waterproof one with a timer. Another thing to consider is purchasing waterproof in ground connections (trust me you want these) electrical tapping will not be enough to prevent a short or corrosion to the wire. The lights are AWESOME! They are bright and fun. You can set every light to do it’s own thing and the last function you set them on will always stay until you change it. This system comes with PLENTY of remote controls which is very nice. I cant wait to set up themes for the holidays. I have included some photos of how solid colors look on my home with these lights. 2nd these lights are LED lights so the white light is definitely different than your typical amber color white lights that you are used to seeing on homes. If you want that look then these are not the lights for you. When I want the Amber look i just turn on yellow and dim them down to the lowest because yes these lights have a dimming feature!
