ive installed these about 18 months ago, and have already had to replace most of the lights. they are not truly waterproof at all, and moisture and condensation builds up in the fixture, eventually causing them to go bad. very aggravating, very annoying. when you calculate the original cost of these, then the cost to replace them after about a year, or less, and all the time and aggravation, it would be better to just buy some really good high quality outdoor low voltage lights that cost a bit…

Lights are housed in a cast aluminum housing with glass over the LED’s. These seem very robust but the attaching bracket are VERY thin. I bent one over when trying to push stake into the ground. I don’t think they will hold up to the deer that walk through my yard but that remains to be seen. I may have to make more heavy duty brackets. I ordered 2 sets of these lights about a month apart. I installed the first set one year ago, and they still work! The second set I received were not as reliable. Half of them worked for a month and then burned out. Aside from that, I am very pleased. They are powered by a 300 watt transformer with a photo cell. Everyone loves them.
