I have 10 of these lights. I bought the 8-pack and then contacted the seller and he sold me two more so I would not have to purchase another 8-pack. Excellent communication and service by the seller! Top notch!These are very easy to install. They wire into your existing low voltage lighting system. So you need to have an existing low voltage system, or buy landscape wiring and a low voltage lighting transformer. These are LED lights, so if you are replacing old incandescent low voltage lights, your existing transformer will be fine because these lights consume less wattage. I went to Home Depot and bought the Hampton Bay 'Low-Voltage Black Replacement Cable Connector (2-Pack)' wiring connectors. I spliced these onto the wiring on the new lights using solderless butt connectors, and then used the quick-connect plugs to tap into my existing low voltage wiring. Worked perfectly!You can set a color to each light using the remote control, and it will remember the color each time they turn on, or you can set the lights on a timed color fade. When you do the timed color fade, all the lights will start with the same color and all will fade to the same colors together. The only way to randomize the color fade for each light is to wait for one light to start, then activate the color fade for each light at a random time and color. Keep in mind that when they turn off for the day and turn back on at night, they will all start at the same color again. So too tedious to do that every day. But the changing color fade looks great even if they are all changing the same color.Very happy with my purchase and my front and back yard look great! In the front yard, I set orange and purple for Halloween, and during Christmas I will set them for red and green.
