a little later. I didn't take a picture because I was shy. I'm sorry I didn't; I should. I have an "after" photo. I live in the southern United States and made the mistake of leaving a vintage leather holster outdoors over my bedroom closet. This toilet is down a hallway from the main bathroom (think of the daily shower mist) and has an exterior wall (think of the summer humidity). I'm sure at some point I planned to put this holster in the box, but I never did. Out of sight, blissfully out of memory. Fast forward 2? four? Years later, massive closet tidying, and I find a holster plastered with bright green. It was hard. Pooh. Okay, I'm ready to accept the challenge. Rubber gloves for on the go. I get some pieces of old leaves and this product. To be honest I wasn't even sure if this product could 'clean' - the jar doesn't quite come with instructions - but use this product or toss the holster in the trash and I was ready to give it a try (and the manufacturer says here on the site that he cleans, cheers). And it worked. Not only on smooth leather, but also on suede. It was a MIRACLE. I used circular motions, lots of product on the sheet and the horrible looking green fabric is gone - this holster looks just as good as it did when my grandfather wore it. Actually better. Hopefully I can find a box to put it in before starting the whole cycle again. But: for cleaning old leather it was AMAZING. I haven't used it for anything that wasn't a total disaster, but if it can handle a 70-year-old moldy holster, I'm sure it can handle a pair of shoes, a belt, harness, or a jacket. Product of the highest quality. It smelled good too.
