This tester works great. As mentioned in a previous review, it's a bit difficult to tell the difference between the white and yellow markings on the label, but it's not that difficult in good lighting conditions. The ability to test GFCI is also a nice addition. To clarify, this is a regular socket tester that can be used on sockets without a GFCI, but it also has an extra button to check if the GFCI is tripping when it should. As someone who doesn't know much about electricity, this helped me when I upgraded the outdoor plug with a more weatherproof box. I wanted to make sure the outlet was plugged in properly since some of the other wiring in our house was unplugged. I also wanted to test disabling the GFCI. This tool worked great!
