I recently bought a 2002 Jeep Liberty and very quickly realized that I didn't like that the gas cap didn't have a 'rope' connecting it to the gas tank. I had to hold the lid or put it in the car and it smells like gas so it wasn't exactly perfect. I searched and got exactly what I needed with this product and a lot cheaper than I expected. Comes with an extra 'rope' which I gave to a family member with the same issue and they also used it on their gas cap. Easy installation, no engine light on. Better experience than without.
