I used this on an outdoor open porch that I screened in with mosquito netting. It works great! The magnets are strong enough it doesn't open, even during windy storms. But, it's easily opened when you want it open and it closes behind you easily. :) I've had it up for about 7 months and I love it! Be sure to measure the opening/frame carefully! Since I was using this for a porch instead of standard door frame, this was the closest size I could find. I wasn't able to use the hook and loop fastening on the back since it was slightly smaller than the opening. However, I used nails and cute pins to keep in place. Highly recommend! Sturdy yet lightweight.
