This is a very simple and fast way to play and only your imagination is stopping you from believing you are on the golf course. I actually use real golf carts from local golf courses for scoring. I showed my 6 and 7 year old grandkids how to play in 5 minutes. They don't really understand the game of golf, but they do understand how to win and lose! What would make this game better is that it comes with a rolling paper/paper cup. The plastic cup starts making noises very quickly. I also recommend that you use the top of the box (e.g. from Yahtzee or some other type of game) as the playfield, otherwise players will "throw" the dice out of the box on almost every roll. The "down" feature is actually pretty handy too.
