We have just received a new caravan and I was looking for opportunities that would not be neglected by the city's growing number of homeless people. This allows the clutch to be completely closed and the chains to be fixed. In my case I can wrap the chains around the jack and then secure them so they can't also use the chains to tow the trailer. The entire setup has little to no play so it cannot be forced. The only way to get the thing off is to cut it off with a grinder, but I think that would take too long. Any would-be thief will just look at this and move on to an easier target.
