This works great as a case. Some similar covers cover more, and some reach the edges of the circular part and interfere with the buttons there, but this one doesn't. Properly sized cutouts. The protection is good. The lanyard is stupid. This is not a Wii remote, you don't need a strap. The glow in the dark feature is useless. This is already a bright color and when the TV is on, the light from the TV is enough to see it well. The Glow also doesn't charge under normal indoor conditions, you need a bright light to charge it. I'm not going to leave my remote in front of a window all day hoping it will light up at night. He's standing on a coffee table that's never lit bright enough to make it glow. However, it works perfectly as a protective cover.
