In my opinion this aquascaping set is not even worth the low price. This is sufficient for general aquarium maintenance and cleaning, but is not ideal for live plants. Or maybe I just got a load of lemon? PROS: - Bought 2-3 months ago and no signs of rust or corrosion, no chipping/peeling issues on the black finish. I dry my tools thoroughly after each use. - The rake/substrate pusher is the best part of the set, works great and does the job well. - The set includes a high-quality microfiber pouch and small silicone straps and caps to protect the instrument's shape and tips. CONS: - Curved scissors are pretty much useless. There is a gap between the slats when they are closed and when they are open. It is impossible to do a manicure with smaller plants. The finger holes are Yuge style, with no grip or anchor notch. I have fairly large hands for a woman, and even my huge hubs struggled to grab them. - Both straight and curved tweezers are quite flimsy, especially the tips don't fit flush either. The insides are engraved for a good grip, but still hardly fulfill their function. You must squeeze the tweezers very close to the tips to grasp the object and not the long instruments. and would definitely spend the extra money on better steel and construction
