Review on Kidde Hardwired Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector with Battery Backup & Voice Alert - Interconnect Combination Alarm by Brian Davis

I bought these to replace my Kidde Wired Combo Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Alarms. I checked the Kidde site to make sure it's the current replacement for the KN-COSM-IB model. I bought two packs of 1 and one pack of 6. Each came with a set of batteries, bracket, cables and installation instructions. I only needed the batteries as they are direct replacements. The new block snapped onto my existing wire connector with no problems. Although the new unit is a bit smaller than the old one, it also fits perfectly in the old mount, so I didn't have to swap out my existing ones for the ones in the box. Each swap took only a few minutes, and I really like that the battery compartment is now on the front of the device, making it even easier to use.
