Comfortable, but short-lived

I don't really like the durability of these socks. I bought four pairs a year ago and seven of the eight socks have significant signs of wear and the eighth is in the early stages of obvious wear. I actually always wear these socks. in the house At the gym. At work. Hike. Summer. In the winter. You will receive a painting. I admit they are fantastically comfortable! It is a real pleasure to wrap your feet. Temperature and humidity control at altitude. Even on the hottest summer days I will still wear these socks. But where they really shine is in moisture control. Lounging around the house in other socks (like Smartwool or Darn Tough) is a miserable experience because they don't breathe well enough. That said, when my feet sweat, the sock sometimes retains that moisture, causing my feet to get cold and sticky. Not so with PS socks! I didn't feel a second of stickiness. So now I'm torn. I've never worn more comfortable socks, but they don't last a year. (And that's with 4 pairs rotating daily. So each pair didn't even last 3 months in a sock.) Although I have a careful washing and drying program, I have to admit that I haven't always air dried my socks. . Is not nobody got time for that. I would say half the time they air dry and the other half spend 15 minutes in a clothes-filled dryer at medium temperature and then are removed before a full drying cycle completes the clothes without socks. Regardless of the sock's durability, there's no chance I'll be wearing something with a ridiculously large logo, like the 100-point "PEOPLE SOCKS" writing on the instep of new socks. The "PS" on the shin of the sock looked stylish and even got people talking. "I'm glad you asked what 'PS' means. They're the most comfortable." However, the flashy, overbearing nature of their latest brand completely turns me off. What a confusing decision! This complicates manufacturing, but brings no benefit. When it came to marketing, it was a poor choice of location, given that no one will see it because it's hidden by your shoes 5 stars for fit, feel and price, 2 stars for durability and 1 star for the fun and bold branding.
