Works great for finding leaks.

I used this leak detector to find leaks in a car air conditioner and it worked great. I found several leaks. Here you can set the sensitivity. There are no replacement tips, so if it gets dirty, just wipe it down with rubbing alcohol. It will emit a pulsing beep and if a leak is found, it will rattle. It works great and comes in a hard case for good protection. It is rechargeable and comes with a charging cable. It has a plastic body with a rubber sleeve to protect it from bumps if dropped. This is a great leak detector that I definitely recommend. Compared to other brands' prices this is a great deal and the shipping was very fast.

Pros

Using the most advanced heated diode sensor, sensor life is significantly extended to over 1000 hours. It responds to all halogenated refrigerants much more accurately than traditional corona discharge sensors.
