I really liked this hand blender. I sent it back because the metal trivet is so razor sharp that moving it while mixing scratched the very expensive Tefal nonstick on my pan. I wasn't happy with that. I have no idea why they don't think of covering the residual parameter. Actually, only Breville has a plastic cap for protection, but other manufacturers don't make them as sharp as this one. It's back because I don't want to damage the other pots.
