Review on 💧 GE GXWH40L Complete Filtration System by Robert Wood

When I had a home that depended on a well for water, I have an earlier version of this GE GXWH20S Standard Flow Whole Home uses filtration system and I was happy that it did a good job removing the dirt from my well water. My new house is connected to the municipal water supply. After a neighbor told me about the dirt in his water, I decided to buy one to filter the water in my house. The ball of this filter is transparent so you can easily see when the filter is dirty and needs to be replaced. The filter elements are bright white when first installed. This filter element has only been in service for a few weeks. The dark color shows that it has already removed some dirt from my pipes, but our water still comes through the filter quite well. This filter is NOT designed to remove harmful chemicals or pathogens. However, it removes dirt quite effectively. Since my family and I would rather not use up the dirt in our water, I'm glad I have this inexpensive way to remove it. The presence of a ball valve on both sides of the filter allows for quick and easy replacement of the filter element. The kit includes a plastic key that allows you to easily remove the globe.
