This is a well made coffee maker that makes good coffee. It has two filter options. Either the reusable filter that comes with the machine or the #2 cone filters that you can buy at most grocery stores. I prefer paper filters as they filter more oils than reusable ones. I like this coffee maker compared to stand alone coffee makers as the cost per cup is lower and you can decide if you want to make a second cup at the same time and you can leave a warmer tray to keep the second cup warm while you are ready for it.
