This product could have gotten 5 stars if it had an automatic shut off. Today it must be required by law. How much more could it cost?

This coffee pot makes exceptionally good coffee. I didn't expect to be so pleasantly surprised! The coffee comes very hot and very quickly. I'm a coffee drinker and a snob. This is a ridiculously excellent coffee pot.

I usually only drink a cup or two, but I needed a ground coffee pot. This small pot is enough for two cups. I threw a pot of water through first before brewing coffee and had no problems. I couldn't detect any strange smells or leaks.

Our predecessor, the same model, has served us well for several years. The handle of the glass server is broken. This new one is just as good as the old one. If you squeeze it a little, it brews coffee for two travel mugs. Good size, easy to use and lasts!

To be honest, I like espresso more than American filter coffee. In the winter, I like to warm up after dinner and don't feel like struggling with sips and frothed milk at all. It's the perfect size for a good French Vanilla, half and half American drip. It's small and elegant, I have it in my art studio, so it's very convenient to do something quickly and not leave the room. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a coffee maker that serves 1. This is a well made coffee maker that makes good coffee. It has two filter options. Either the reusable filter that comes with the machine or the #2 cone filters that you can buy at most grocery stores. I prefer paper filters as they filter more oils than reusable ones.
