I bought three of these mats to use under oriental rugs in a new home with polished colored concrete floors. He coped with his task, became softer and easier to suck. A week later we decided to move the carpet and when we tried to move the padding underneath it stuck to the floor leaving a layer of plastic residue wherever the carpet underlay was. I checked other pads and the same thing happened, they stuck to the ground and left marks. We spent hours trying to remove the residue using various tools (mop, scraper, etc.). The white plastic remnants came out with some effort, but there's still a pattern on the bottom that won't go away with our efforts and seriously needs to be removed. We need professional cleaning of the floors at a price well above the cost of these rugs.
