Served its purpose but this hole saw has some quality and other flaws. First off, no instructions were included - not that it's too difficult if you're mechanically inclined, but there are some subtle touches that can easily be gotten wrong. A few other issues: 1) A crossbar that is marked to ensure two cutters cut the same radius cannot be centered. There was a hole drilled in the rod and they didn't center it. Even if it's properly centered, the measurements don't match reality. Rather than relying on marks, manually measuring the center drill ensures the cutters are properly positioned. 2) The carbide tip of the largest supplied carbide drill is welded on at an angle. I wouldn't use any of these drill bits as a hole saw guide anyway, as their shanks are too small and the diameter of the largest drill bit is actually too large for shorter guide drill bits, so I can do without them. . 3) The rubber pad is too thin to effectively seal the dust. The bowl still catches the vast majority of dirt and holds some dust, but a hollow rubber or even foam base would be better.
